Attractions

Welcome to Mallorca!

We hope you will take the time to explore our island while you're here. Check out the below pages to see a sampling of the many things the city has to offer.

Palma – Old Town & Port

The historic centre of Palma is an architectural and cultural marvel. With its medieval streets, it is one of the largest and best preserved old quarters in the Mediterranean and in Europe.

The main landmark is the majestic 14th century Sa Seu Gothic cathedral with its imposing buttresses of soft yellow sandstone overlooking the impressive bay. The cathedral’s interior offers a combination of classic Gothic architecture with a 20th century touch of modernista by architect Gaudi.

Small towns in Mallorca

Mallorca's small towns and villages make excellent day-trip destinations from the city of Palma. You can find a mix of Spanish, Moorish, and Ancient Roman structures, as well as quaint shops, centuries-old wineries, and local restaurants. Some must-visit small towns include Valldemossa, Deià, or Sóller.

Coves of Mallorca

Mallorca has some of the best beaches in Europe.

Whether you prefer the fine sand of Cala Mondragò, the rocky outcroppings around Sant Elm, or a mix of both in Pollença and Alcúdia, your new favorite beach is waiting to be discovered.
